DrayTek Vigor series routers (Vigor2130 series) have already received certification of IPv6 Ready logo program (Phase I – IPv6 Ready Silver logo) to honor our efforts to make devices meet requirements not only for today but also for tomorrow.
On the other hand, this achievement represents how dedicated DrayTek commits to our customers.
Phase I achievement is only the start point for DrayTek and we will keep customers posted about our future progress.
Today's ideal business IT infrastructure is being able to integrate multiple corporate databases, such as mail server, FTP server, web server, ERP, CSM, surveillance and so on to allow employees to access whenever and wherever they need. Moreover, not only Fortune 1,000 companies but also SMBs begin to adopt IP telephony solution and web/video conferencing to reduce communication and travel expenses, which affect the bottom line. Along with fasten and speedy broadband, home automation, e-learning, e-government and HDTV are steadily deployed at home.
All above activities rely on much more fast, stable and secure Internet infrastructure.
That's the reason why IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) is gradually being emphasized worldwide to avoid limitation IP technology development and running out addresses of current IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4).customers' expectations.
Current status of IPv4 & IPv6 development:
Analysts predict IPv4 address will be running out during 2011~2012 (figure 1).
However, it doesn't mean end of the world for websites established by IPv4 structure.
This is because IPv4 & IPv6 can be co-existed in one physical line (Dual Stack) and using IPv6 Tunnel Broker technology to communicate with each other (figure 2).
For this reason, network devices manufacturers still have time but need to speed up their development of IPv6 compatible technology to launch products for the coming new era.

The traditional PABX is becoming a thing of the past. New technologies enable The Artery to implement IP PABX’s.
Many traditional PABX supplies would sign you into a 60 month contract and supply you with an entry level PABX. With the introduction of IP PABX’s hardware and software devices, you can now implement IP PABX’s with a huge amount of functionally.
You can now truly take advantage of leased cost routing. In the past, a company would install premi cells where on an IP PABX the leased cost routing is done at the data centre, which allows us to negotiate better rates with the mobile carriers due to the volume.
Inter branch communication can be achieved using Internet connections at no additional cost. National and International calls are also discounted, passing more savings over to you..
